Knight Defense for iPhoneMany lazy afternoons lately, so how about playing a little game on your iPhone? My answer’s fine, so I looked around and did a little search work then I found this interesting game – the Knight Defense, it is actually a Tower Defense game with a Twist, and it’s more interesting!

Knight Defense combines action and strategy in a dynamic re-imagining of the tower defense genre. It’s bold, intelligent, challenging & fun. If you have a shiny new iPhone 4, the game takes full advantage of the HD Retina Display.

Well as a game we should first check out the gameplay, right? In this case, the gameplay’s a little complicated but not too quirky, it’s actually great gameplay that you’ll love:

- Defeat all waves of enemies without losing your King.
- Your pieces fire at enemies in distinct patterns reminiscent of chess pieces. Each time a piece fires in a particular direction there is a short delay before it can fire again in that direction.
- If an enemy hits one of your pieces it explodes and damages that piece (and sometimes the pieces around it).
- Combos: destroy multiple enemies at once to greatly increase your score.
- Each of your pieces can be upgraded 7 times, increasing health and attack, as well as healing the piece back to full health and allowing it to fire immediately in all available directions.
- Each piece has a unique special ability with a cooldown before it can be used again. Eg. making nearby pieces fire twice as fast or healing nearby pieces.
- Enemies vary in health, speed and attack power.
- Enemies home towards your King, so where you position him determines their movement.
- Pieces can protect each other, reducing the damage they take.
- Tap the skip button make the next wave arrive immediately.

And here’re some special features about this interesting new game:

- Move and upgrade your forces in real-time to defeat the waves of enemies determined to destroy your king.
- Each level is a hand-crafted scenario with many different ways to win.
- The levels are divided into easy, medium and hard difficulties. Can you beat the hard levels?
- Unlock achievements and rocket to the top of the global leader boards with OpenFeint!
- Free updates to come – more levels and achievements.
- Resume exactly where you left off when you restart the app.

So generally speaking, the Knight Defense game for the iPhone and iPod Touch is just one of the thousands of Tower Defense games, but what makes it different is that it has a really great twist! Try it, you’ll find yourself love it!

POD LampMultiuse is quite an adorable thing in modern life. In order to save some space and to make our desk look cleaner, compact design is a trend in household appliance design today. Therefore I guess iPhone docks are now suppose to have some more functions too, and so here comes the  POD Lamp which brings light to your desk, and also keeps your cords tidy.

The concept of an iPod desk lamp is nothing new. However OttLite’s POD Lamp is even better than the other iPod Lamps out there.

Why is that you ask? Because it can accommodate a cell phone and other Mp3 players besides the iPod and iPhone. The lamp also features wire management, so that you can thread your cords through the bottom of the lamp and charge your phone or MP3 player while it’s docked in the lamp. The lamp is also able to adjust to divergent heights and angles, and includes a 13 Watt OttLite HD bulb which can last up to 10,000 hours.

The round shape looks cute, and the polished color is very clean and shinning, like it! And it is really versatile indeed, it can hold your device, light your desk, and also put away your messing cords! How wonderful! Now available in glossy dark, or glossy white, the POD Lamp retails for $111.98.

iSkins for BlackBerryDo you know that BlackBerry is one of the most popular smartphones among the US? Do you aware that smartphones have really fragile screen, in fact, the bigger screen, the more fragile! So we need protections for our dear smartphone, seriously. But how to choose the right one from the big confused market? I’m happy to give some advices.

Is there a sexier smartphone out there? I think not. Whether you agree or not, you do have to admit that RIM’s line up is quite stunning. Over time and through wear and tear, your device goes from functional and fabulous to functional and frumpy. The trick to slow the aging process? Handle with care and keep it covered. There may be a problem with this. Do you want to sacrifice sexy style for security? Some skins offer great protection, but are damn ugly. Not only that, but you may experience interference when using the keypad or touch screen. The iSkin may offer the best of both worlds.

There’s been quite some buzz lately online about the iSkin. I’ve been lucky enough to try them out for a while now. Their lineup is colorful, and very eye catching.

The iSkins are available for a wide variety of products; from BlackBerrys, iPods and iPhones to MacBook Pro/Air, keyboards and mice (or is it meese?). For the BlackBerry smartphone, here’s what iSkin carrys; Vibes and Vibes FX. Both are promising to bring sizzle and style to your world. The Vibes are available for the Curve 8900, Storm and Bold 9000, while the Vibes FX version is only available for the Curve 8900. Each version captures the essence of each BlackBerry model perfectly. The Bold 9000’s sports the beautiful, luxurious leather pattern we know and love. The Vibes for the Curve 8900 and Storm are smooth as silk, yet offering an edgy style. The Vibes FX are my style, not only do they come in my favourite colours (Green and Orange), but they have an argyle design on the back.

Now, besides keeping your BlackBerry’s bum ding-free, each iSkin comes with an easy to apply screen protector. The Vibes come with clear protectors, while the Vibes FX iSkins come with mirrored ones. Your BlackBerry will look good coming and going, while being guarded from drops, scuffs and scratches. Oh, I almost forgot, for added fun, iSkin also offers stickers you can use to show off your style while, providing free marketing for them!

Unlike some skins, the iSkin fits snug and securely, without being difficult to put on. This fit ensures that the Bold’s bezel is truly protected, without interfering with the keypad at all. We all know how easily the bezel can be damaged. The coverage of the iSkin is amazing! The metal surrounding the camera is covered in a clear, thick plastic, leaving a cut out for the camera lens. The mute/standby key, volume control and convenience keys are completely covered. While the iSkin is supposed to allow for functionality, I found the mute, volume and right convenience key difficult to press, while the left convenience key was very easy to accidentally press. Cut outs are left open for the mic, and a lanyard, while the Bold’s speakers are completely covered. I didn’t mind this, as calls on speakerphone, alerts and other audio can still be clearly heard.

What I was really impressed with was the iSkin solution for the USB and headphone ports. Instead of leaving them completely open, iSkin sports two doors designed to keep dust, dirt and debris out. I did find at times that the USB door didn’t always stay completely closed. I was hoping to have a door for the micro SD card slot, but alas, no such luck.

OK, so this is it, my pick of a nice cellphone cover for BlackBerrys, not perfect, but pretty stunning! You might want to try them out, don’t be hesitating, they do worth a try, trust me.

The all-new iPodEveryone knew the iPhone was coming and many have already been waiting for the new version. But before you rush to the iPhone store for the latest news check out this! If this rumour is true the iPhone would be sucked!

From Technologizer’s round-up of pre-iPhone iPhone coverage, here’s some of the most of tragicomically wrong specurumorbobulation:

1.An Apple phone’s functions could be accessed hassle-free with the iPod’s scroll wheel, and the numbers could work with a slide-out keyboard or a simple touchpad system on the screen.

2.The click-wheel is closer to the bottom of the device with the screen taking a vertical orientation. The click-wheel portion of the device reportedly slides down to reveal a traditional numeric dial-pad underneath. The front is black, while the back is chrome like the current iPod.

3.Two battery design (with single charger) – one for playing music, the other for phone functions.

4. The first will be little more than an iPod Nano with basic phone capabilities while the latter will boast more advanced smartphone functions including real-time IM using Apple’s iChat platform (and by proxy, AOL and Jabber).

5.AppleBerry–a combination iPod/BlackBerry: Apple Computer and BlackBerry maker Research in Motion might be working on a product together based on the advice of their common partner, Intel. The pairing combines Apple’s design expertise with RIM’s relationships with carriers and handset makers.

WOW…really attractive huh? The broader point of all is this one I made rounding up all of the current Apple Tablet rumors. We all might’ve “known” the iPhone was coming, but nobody had any idea what it was really like, which turned out to be a good thing—an iPodphone doesn’t sound all that great. No steady evidence but I’d like to wait to see how this would turn out to be! If you’re attempting to buy a new iPhone now, don’t rush and wait, this might surprise you and make it really worth the waiting and hoping.
