POD LampMultiuse is quite an adorable thing in modern life. In order to save some space and to make our desk look cleaner, compact design is a trend in household appliance design today. Therefore I guess iPhone docks are now suppose to have some more functions too, and so here comes the  POD Lamp which brings light to your desk, and also keeps your cords tidy.

The concept of an iPod desk lamp is nothing new. However OttLite’s POD Lamp is even better than the other iPod Lamps out there.

Why is that you ask? Because it can accommodate a cell phone and other Mp3 players besides the iPod and iPhone. The lamp also features wire management, so that you can thread your cords through the bottom of the lamp and charge your phone or MP3 player while it’s docked in the lamp. The lamp is also able to adjust to divergent heights and angles, and includes a 13 Watt OttLite HD bulb which can last up to 10,000 hours.

The round shape looks cute, and the polished color is very clean and shinning, like it! And it is really versatile indeed, it can hold your device, light your desk, and also put away your messing cords! How wonderful! Now available in glossy dark, or glossy white, the POD Lamp retails for $111.98.

animation headphonesOne great feature about smartphones nowadays is that they can play as a mp3 player too, some even can work as a video player. So to someone smartphones are not just smartphones, they’re also used as multimedia players. Because of that, a portable speaker will be very necessary. For those who have a young heart and love geeky stuff, here’re some cute headphonies to inject some animation into your audio.

Is it just me, or do the Headphonies sound like they should have their own kiddy TV show on Saturday mornings? No, just me then? OK. Well, they’re not a set of crazy looking critters designed to bring joy to littler kids while their parents cash in their lie-ins, they’re actually some kind of moshi monster/mimbot mashup with portable audio playing capabilities. Because the release of portable speakers are so frequent, the creator’s of these cartoon-esque speakers thought they’d bring something different to the table. So if you like to step out the boring and ordinary box, you may want to step into a world where toys and portable speakers collide.

The range consists of five figures, all created by several artists (that I won’t mention as you probably won’t have heard of them) as well as two blank canvas models that you can adorn yourself. You will then be free to plug your little friend into you MP3 player, iPod, phone or CD player and your smartphones too, for around four hours of playback on a full charge.

They’re cute and useful, I would love to have these cute little speakers  accompany anywhere.

SMS SlingshotSMS is not just a mean of communication today, especially to the youth, it is like almost a lifestyle! As we always love to have fun in life, SMS should be a little more fun too, so here comes the SMS Slingshot, which can send your text messages onto walls. This is totally fun, and quite beautiful too.

I always thought of slingshot as a toy especially created for naughty boys, as we often saw young boys sending stones or balls onto girls or birds. But the SMS Slingshot designed by Berlin based VR/URBAN has totally changed my opinion.

It is a handheld digital slingshot device that can send color splashes and text messages onto public screens. There’s a mobile built in the wooden device to store messages and a laser to blast those contents onto nearby screens via a projector. So just as what you can see from the photos below, the user keys in the messages, shoots the slingshot, and then he/she can find a color splash appear on the screen with the text inside.

So the slingshot is now not just a mean toy for naughty boys, it is a fun toy for all of us! Hopefully you’ll enjoy it!

Inflatable Cell Phone HoldersTime for cute cellphone accessories! When at home we do not want to hold our phones in our hands, so then you’ll need a nice cellphone holder. Honestly I’ve got plenty of cute cellphone holders at home already, but somehow I still lack of one nice cellphone holder. Hah…I guess that’s how I got little gadgets everywhere in my apartment.

Anyway, let’s see this inflatable cellphone holders which will keep your mobile cushy.

You know those sets of inflatable furniture that became popular at the end of the 90s? Well they’re back again, but not quite the way you’re imagining it. This time you can rest your cell phone in mini-sized Inflatable Flower Cell Phone Holders. This is one cell phone accessory that is super ridiculous, but we want one anyway. They are currently sold out but it looks like you can still pick them up on ebay for just $2.25.

Well, I really love these little cuties for they’re so adorable, and also for the price is really reasonable. So how do you feel?

iPhone chocolateWell, as we all have seen the iPhone is indeed very “juicy”, we sometimes really want to just have a bite, right? And now I’m actually suggesting that let’s eat the juicy iPhone, truly no kidding.

Eat the iPhone!? Am I crazy? Nope, coz the iPhones we’re to eat are not those smart cellphones but delicious chocolate boxed in an iPhone-like package. But remember not to put the chocolates together with your iPhone cellphone, or you’ll probably eat the real one and get your teeth broken…I’m still not kidding.

OK, now how do you like this real sweet iPhone?

Dr Who Phone CharmsWe all love to have some interesting charms attached to our dear phones, like we always wanted some cute decorations at home. The love for cute gadgets is almost like something we can control, it’s born in our nature, and thank God it usually don’t cost much.

For those who love Dr. Who, or who just love cool cellphone charms, here are two Dr. Who Phone Charms for you, the Tardis and the Dalek, they’ll spin and flash to alert you of incoming calls.

For geeky girls (or boys) like us, these may be the best Phone Charms ever. Firebox has exclusive Dr. Who Phone Charms, one with a very miniature Tardis and one with a Dalek. The charms spin and flash to alert you of an incoming call or message. I know, you’re thinking, what, no Cyberman version? But these will just have to do for the meantime. They are available each for $9.95 or $17.95 if you want to get both together.

The Tardis is without doubt very cool, I mean, it’s a time machine, what more could possibly ask for a cellphone charm?! And the Dalek, it’s kinda creepy and cool, I guess I should get myself a “Extermination. Extermination…” ringtone as well, hah…

Well, I really can’t decide which one to get, so I’ll simply get both I guess. What about you?

Today Todo Pro, the sunniest task manager on the iPhoneOne big advantage about have smartphones is that they can help you schedule your time, since we all have busy days nowadays and we all have something that we’ve planned to do, or something we really don’t want to forget about, so this feature of smartphones can be really useful and sweet as well!

Among all those task manager apps out there, Today Todo Pro is quite a nice one that keeps beautiful and functional. It has a bit of an awkward title, but it’s definitely one of the most interesting and unique task managers to hit the App Store thus far. After all, what other apps let you move from today to yesterday by literally swiping the noon day sun off of the screen?

Today ToDo Pro (or TTP from here on out) actually features a very simple interface, but it’s so different than anything else out there that it can take a little while to get used to. The categories (lists) are hidden in a pull-down menu at the top of the screen. Lists are divided into default and Someday tasks by default, but you can add your own categories at any time.

New tasks are created by tilting the device into landscape mode, and dates are picked by using a sliding bar instead of the (inferior) Apple date picker. You can also set the priority of a task by simply swiping along the top-right side of the screen. TTP features one of the best “new task” dialogues I’ve ever seen — every bit as good as the famous 2Do’s, if not better. The settings for new tasks are re-saved every time you bring the new task dialogue up, and it’s very easy to enter multiple tasks into one list because the dialogue box doesn’t go away until you tilt back to portrait (or press cancel).

Tasks are displayed on the main portion of the screen and are completed by simply ticking off the circle on the left side (or via swipe-to-delete, if you’re feeling vicious). Ticking tasks off works well enough, but it somehow feels like it’s missing something. Completed tasks simply throw themselves to the bottom of the list without any extra animation, and it can actually be a little too easy to “complete” the wrong task, or “complete” a task without meaning to.

Due dates for new tasks are set to the current date by default, but as you use TTP you’ll likely see tasks on one of the four metaphoric “day” screens: yesterday (previous or overdue tasks), today, tomorrow (future tasks), and Someday (tasks without a due date). Switching between these views is as simple as swiping left or right on the sun or moon at the top of the screen. It’s an idea that sounds great on paper, and works out very well in practice as well.

This little cute app can be really helpful when you want to schedule your time, and make some really nice plan. And you’ll be really pleased to use such a sunny apps on your iPhone. You can get it at Apple app store now.
