I don’t know about you guys, but I sit in front of my laptop screen for like 10 hours a day or more, and sometimes I just get tired and I just start to hate computers. And then I would really want to find a job that has nothing to do with computers, but then I find the problem — There’s no such job!
Even garbage collection relies on computers somehow! Let’s see what the BlackBerry Binmen will do to the business.
Binmen are bringing Blackberrys to the high-stakes game of collecting garbage, proving that there isn’t a single job in the world where you don’t have to work with computers. The garbage collection agency “Biffa” is electronically equipping employees in an effort to speed up the service. They say staff can now communicated with home office and download maps, (but not Facebooks, twitters…this is more about business than entertainment) which raises the terrifying idea of trucks brimming with garbage tearing around at random in an extremely unpleasant version of Speed.
More usefully they’ll be able to instantly image examples of customers with overflowing bins or improperly-sorted garbage, so reality has finally caught up with the tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorists – there really is cellphone surveillance of your bins. And this new telecom-trash-tapping works both ways, with company-equipped GPS units able to track the trucks’ progress (and instantly tell them when they’re behind.)
I usually love cell phone games, and would like to have a taste of new cell phone apps, but I’m still new to this BlackBerry Binmen, and if you’ve got any further information on this, please tell me in the comments. And will this be an effective use of £1.75 million? Or would ten more trucks speed things further? Only time, and your trash, will tell. Let’s just wait and see.

So many IM apps out there, we might get a little lost at first, but somehow after awhile we all managed to find our favorite one and then stick to it ever after, like we always do. However something might occur and make you feel like changing your mind, but still hope things will be fixed soon. And this is our case here.
For those of you who got hooked on using Nimbuzz only to find out taht it wouldn’t work on OS 5.0, this news will make you happy. CrackBerry let me know that Nimbuzz updated at some point and is now compatible with OS 5.0 devices. Nimbuzz did outline the fact it’s only with version starting at .4xx and up but really most users should be above that by now. I did have a few issues with it running over Wi-Fi but I think that was more an issue with RIM then with Nimbuzz. Let us know in the comments if all is working fine for you now.
Well, better late than never! So, good news. One login, one contact list, all accounts. Now it’s coming back, just wondering how long will it work this time? Maybe just before the OS 6.0 is released…

Having a nice meal is always a delightful thing, and what makes it better is that we cook our own food! Yes, cooking is actually a very innovative work, and could be fun! However many problems can occur to a rookie chef like me, so here comes the help–5 in 1 Kitchen Timer!
American food is all about the timing, and rookie chefs may find multi-tasking a heart attack inducing feat. When you’re trying to concentrate on getting a step correct, you suddenly realize something’s burning. At the meanwhile, a pot is boiling over and you finally become frustrated. The 5 in 1 Kitchen Timer is made for this, to help you keep track of multiple items. The application is based on the DoneRight Timer from The Food Network. With the interface designed to look like four burners and the oven, you can visually see each clock ticking away. This give you a better handle on critical timing and see when each item is done.
You can pick up the 5 in 1 Kitchen Timer for only $2.99. Then no more need to worry about the timing any more, cooking is now so much fun! Have a nice meal!

Joys shared with others are more enjoyed. We love to share happiness, joys, life with friends and family, on some occasions even with strangers. But sharing has always been a tricky thing, you always need to find connections to do it. Now here comes the easiest way, just bump your iPhones together, then start sharing!
Bump is a quick and easy way to connect two phones by simply bumping them together. Exchange your phone number, photos, or compare friends with just a bump. It is a tool that has clearly been devised with the intention to let you save time, Bump will let any person share data by simply placing his mobile next to another that also has the pertinent application installed. Hence the name of the app, and the site’s tagline: “Bump makes connecting as simple as bumping two phones together”. The data that can be shared like this is virtually limitless, as you can distribute not only video and images in such a fashion but also use the app to compare and corroborate information such as phone numbers, email addresses and so on. We talked about Nintaii right before it won best game in the BlackBerry Partner’s Fund Developer Challenge. There is a new version out and it takes advantage of the BlackBerry Storms accelerometer.
I can’t wait to see what other types of games start coming out for the the Storm…
One of the best thing about smartphones is that you can play interesting games to kill time and have some fun. As I am not a fan of huge complicated games, so interesting puzzle games become my favorite as a result. Here’s the one game I’m sticking to lately – Nintaii!
Nintaii has just won best game in the BlackBerry Partner’s Fund Developer Challenge. It is a brain twisting puzzle game of rolling blocks and switches. Be ready to roll your block over the course of this 100 level challenge. The objective of the game is to tumble a rectangular block through each stage and deposit it into the square hole at the end. Switches, road blocks and arrows are located in many levels. Switches are activated by having the block stand on it.
Just like most of the greatest puzzle games, Nintaii has a simple concept and yet proves to be very challenging, electrifying and attractive!
The Japanese kanji ‘nintai’ means patience, perseverance, or endurance, and to my experience, the game is quite ‘nintai’. Well, weather it is overly-famed or just really deserve the fame, now check for yourself!
