We do love smartphones, they’re beautiful, functional and smart. But sometimes they’re just too smart therefore inappropriate for the elders and the kids, you know, it can be difficult for them to use a smartphone, and it might also cause some extra cost or might bring inappropriate informations. So we do need a simple phone for them, simple but useful. and here is comes the almost disposable phone, Motorola C139.
The Motorola C139 is a GSM phone with compatibility with most operators including T-mobile and AT&T. It doesn’t play MP3s or do anything fancy at all. But it does have a color screen and support basic modern-day cell phone functions. So why should you care about the C139? It’s dirt cheap. It has a retail price of $55.99 but can be found on eBay for as low as $19.99 plus shipping. At that price, it’s almost cheap enough for it to be the world’s first disposable phone? So consider the C139 great for kids or anyone who is likely to destroy their phone easily.
So, everyone can use the Motorola C139, it might not be smart enough for you and me, but totally functional enough for the elders and the kids, and take consideration of the price, this phone is really nice choice!

A nice basic phone here, very simple and beautiful, quite adorable. If you’re really not fond of big screened phone, and don’t really like so called smartphone, then this might be a nice phone for you, simple but elegant, I think it’s perfect for girls who only seek for the basic functions on a phone but really want it to be fashionable.
NTT DoCoMo unveiled this handset in the Raku-Raku PHONE series, the Raku Raku PHONE Basic. The Raku-Raku PHONE series is primarily for people who are interested in user-friendly handsets equipped with just basic functions, and this one makes no exception. But actually this one do have got some very interesting ‘extra’ functions:
The handset features a “Slow Voice” function, achieved by embedded software which improves conversation comprehensibility by slowing the other person’s voice speed. The “Clear Voice” noise-detection function automatically adjusts voice and ringtone volume according to the surrounding noise level. The “Read Aloud” feature audibly announces the caller or email sender’s name and provides audio readouts of i-mode compatible pages. The “Simple Mail Generation” feature provides the user with preset messages for quicker replies to e-mails.
The handset is compatible with DoCoMo’s push-based service, i-channel, that automatically delivers news and other info as telop text on standby screens, text which can be displayed in extra-large font for easy reading. The phone also functions as a pedometer, helping the user measure the distance he or she has walked, as well as computing calorie consumption.
Wow, so it’s really got something inside, seem perfect especially for a lady. I’d really like to have that, how do you?
