Samsung M350 Seek Mobile PhoneSamsung, a classic Korean phone manufacture, like other Korean phone makers, they value fashionable shape and designer more than functionality, and yes, they make really nice sleek fashionable phones.

So, when the Samsung M350 Seek Mobile Phone comes in Floral Pink, it is really not a big deal, they do such things. However this phone really worth a second look.

It may not quite be a smartphone, but the Samsung M350 Seek mobile phone has a lot going for it, especially now that it comes in pink with a floral design on it. Sure, not every girl will go for this, but there are plenty who would appreciate this phone’s feminine looks.

The phone also sports a 1.3MP camera, bluetooth, a full QWERTY keyboard with a 2.6″ touchscreen display, and dedicated apps for Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, IM, and email. Overall, that isn’t too shabby for a free phone with contract when you sign up with Sprint.

Like I said, not functionally powerful, but sleek and fashionable, and sometimes that’s all a fashion girl asks for a cell phone.

iPhone 4 and iOS4The iPhone undeniably is a milestone in smartphone history, Apple has really made a generation with it, and now here comes the iPhone 4, a new generation of iPhone, and a new generation of all smartphones. If you haven’t read a lot about this new iPhone already, then let’s have a quick look at the new iPhone 4 with iOS 4 together.

First of all, since the iPhone 3GS resembles the iPhone 3G so much, I just want to give you a heads up that the iPhone 4 is drastically different from the iPhone 3G or 3GS, it’s literally the new generation of iPhone.

To start, it has an all new design features a sheet of glass on the front as well as the rear. Having glass on the rear means that it is scratch resistant. The edges are aluminum and act as the antenna for the WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular radios. The iPhone 4 is the thinnest smartphone available at 9.3mm, but is a bit heavier than the iPhone 3GS. The display has such high resolution, that each pixel is nearly the width of a human hair. This makes for a super smooth image that is many times clearer than what you’ll find on any smarpthone. The resolution is 960×640. Most high end smartphones like the Google Nexus One or EVO 4G have resolutions of 800×480. The iPhone 4 has two cameras. The camera on the front is used for the FaceTime video chat feature. The camera on the rear is 5MP with an LED flash, and can also record 720p video.

Sounds to me, this is really the most impressive smartphone for both entertainment and communication! The new iPhone ships with iOS 4 and is going to be available on June 24, and you can get the 16GB model for $199 and the 32GB model for $299, with a contract of course. Let’s just wait and see if it is really that good as the official said “It’ll change everything again”.

Snoopy x Katoon CellphoneDon’t know if you have noticed the trend for cartoon or not, I really see lots of cartoon factors in fashion lately, and graffiti arts too. Personally I love cartoons, I love watch comics and cartoon movies, so I really like the cartoon trend. And I’m more than happy to have some cartoon factors on my cell phone.

Well, if you’re like me, then you might find the Snoopy x Katoon Cellphone which is made to celebrate the 60 years of Snoopy, just perfect.

Who doesn’t love Snoopy? Well apparently those in Asia do because they have released the Snoopy x Katoon Dual SIM Card Cellular phone. This commemorative edition phone celebrates 60 years of Snoopy. It is extremely hard to find any information on the actually manufacturers of this phone – ‘Katoon’. But I will give them credit for the unique packaging and creativity that went in to this phone. The set includes 5 different face plates all depicting versions of Snoopy from the last 60 years. The phone features a Peanuts centric menu system, and also includes a Snoopy branded case, earbuds, and even wall charger. The whole collection comes inside a beautiful box with a ‘Celebrate Snoopy 60 Years’ bag.

And as for functionality, it has got common specs we can usually find on a smartphone. Such as follows:
Frequency: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Camera: 2.0 MP
Video: MPEG4/3GP
Sound Alert Types: 64 Polyphonic Ringtones, MIDI/MP3/ARM Audio Format
Image: BMP/JPEG/GIF Format
Voice: SMS Reading/Voice Commands
Card Slot: MicroSD, up to 2GB
Bluetooth: Yes with A2DP
Messaging: SMS/MMS
Browser: GPRS/WAP 2.0
Phonebook: Yes, save up to approx. 1000 contacts
Stand-by up to 72h; Talk time up to 1 1/2h

The Snoopy x Katoon Dual SIM Card Cellular Phone is available for pre-order at Dream Kitty and retails for $499.99.

Well for a Snoopy fan like me, this phone is totally adorable, and I really want to have it. But as a smartphone, there is no guarantee if the actual phone itself is any decent, but still it truly is a cellphone for the diehard Snoopy or Peanuts fan.

LG and VersaceYes, LG is really busy hopping in the fashion world, and we sort of like the combination of phones and high fashion. As we reported about their first fashion phone teamed up with Prada not long ago, here’s one breaking news on LG’s new move: It looks like LG shun Prada and cuddle up to Versace!

Oh, the fickle world of high fashion! It was only a short while ago that LG teamed up with Prada to create the original Prada phone and its sequel, the Prada II, but in what the tabloid press would call a ’shocking snub’, the Korean firm has seemingly abandoned the designer brand in favour of Versace.

The result is the Versace Unique, but all is not what it seems, as LG has not gone all the way with Versace as the Unique carries an inscription reading ‘Technology by LG’, as the handset is the work of French manufacturer ModeLabs. Modelabs are no stranger to the fashion phone world, having worked with Levi’s, Tag Hauer and Dior before, but this is the first product to come from their new partnership with LG.

The hand-built Unique is wrapped in leather and has a 3″ sapphire crystal touchscreen, plus customers will have the choice of a stainless steel or 18k gold inserts, while on the tech front the phone will be 3G with a 5 megapixel camera, Dolby Mobile and the usual media and business applications. Such overtly geeky information such as the OS, processor or storage capacity has not been discussed, but we doubt the target market for a phone like this really cares!

The price will no doubt be astronomical, but with that name and label prominently displayed, we imagine it’ll do quite well in the right circles. The Versace Unique is due to go on sale in June and you’ll have to visit, according to the press release, ‘important exclusive watch and fine jewelry networks’ and Versace boutiques only to buy one.

It looks like the fashion world is really quite easy on the Korean firm. As they always dedicated to make phones of slick and fashionable looks other than functional phones, LG’s move on teaming up with high fashion brand is not a real surprise, but the change of from Prada to Versace so quickly is! And since I never had a thing for this Korean phone maker, let’s just say lucky that LG doesn’t get to really make the Versace Unique.

LG Viewty GTSmartphones are no news today, and we all have seen lots of interesting, beautiful smartphones, and neither is touchscreen anything new, but still a touchscreen smartphone is really worth a second look, and when it comes from the label LG, girls might really want to check it out, so here today we’re going to go through this LG Viewty GT generally.

Phone makers are falling over themselves to create great social-networking phones: Microsoft’s Kin; Nokia’s C3 – and mid-market phone veterans LG are jumping on the bandwagon releasing their LG Viewty GT exclusively on 3, which is on sale now.

We like the look of this touchscreen phone, not breathtakingly gorgeous but ordinarily beautiful indeed, though the biggest asset might just be the £15 a month deal.

Twitter and Facebook are built into the home screen, both available from one touch on the home screen. Skype is onboard and free as well.

Featuring 3.0″ resistive touch screen, a 5.0 Mega Pixel Auto Focus Camera and fast browsing with HSDPA 3.6. There is 60mb internal memory onboard and it comes with a stylus for more precise touch screen input. As for software, it features Muvee studio and photo editor and two customisable home screens.

The £14 a month contract on three includes 300 minutes of free talking, a mix of 300 minutes & texts to use how you like (anytime, any network) and unlimited internet. A good deal considering Skype is also free… but a 24 month contract. Also available on pay as you go.

Frankly, not a innovative smartphone, and quite ordinary look, but it is really quite convenient and thsi really is a social-networking smartphone which can basically make your social life more convenient and somehow easier to be connected, and that’s good. And the £14 a month contract is quite reasonable too.

HP's takeover of PalmTo all Palm users and Palm lovers, the economy statement of the company has been a problem for us for quite a long time, and we were optimistic about this not long ago, but now we have to say that it might be a good idea for HP to takeover. The important thing for us is that Palm the unique phone label isn’t going to just disappear, but there might be great changes though.

Business analysts think that HP’s takeover of phone-manufacturers Palm makes sense. But what do the Palm-loving public think?

Palm whose flagship handsets are currently the Pre and the Pixi, was a techie darling back a few years ago, but last turned a profit in May 2007. HP “the world’s largest computer company” is looking to get into the rocketing smartphone market and last night agreed to buy Palm for $1.2bn.

What should Palm users expect? Here’s the five ways HP’s takeover of Palm should affect you:

1. Expect more and better phones: HP plans to compete “aggressively” in the smartphone market and they’ve certainly got the money to take Palm’s expertise

2. Expect phones that co-ordinate with your computer – HP promise: “a unique HP experience spanning multiple mobile connected devices”.

3. We’ll see more in-between devices. HP have already released the Windows Slate but given the hype around the tablet form factor and the combination of HP and Palm’s respective expertise, I think we can look forward to some nice iPad rivals.

4. Palm shares on the rise: if you were committed enough to the company to invest in the shares of your favourite phone-maker, you’ll be looking happy today as shares shot up by 25%.

5. A resurgence in Palm Pride: those early 00s fansites may have died out, but now some of those great products like the beautifully designed WebOS should get some of the promotion and recognition they deserve.

6. Might the Palm’s start-up ethos of quirky user-friendly handsets get squashed by HP’s more corporate philosophy and clunkier design? We hope not.

Well, anyway the future of Palm is still quite bright which we’re really happy to see, Palm indeed is a very unique phone label. And about all these changes, we can just guess for now, let’s just wait to see how it turns out to be in reality.

Google Nexus OneGoogle is always a nice choice, and we kinda all have a pretty good impression about this label, so now let’s check out how well Google has done on their first smartphone, Google Nexus One.

With all these smartphones out there in the market, the Google Nexus One is still worth a second look.

It’s been weeks since Google released its Nexus One Android phone and you might have already read several if not hundreds of reviews. And those reviews may have given you various opinions and comments about the Nexus One, that you might find it pretty confusing. So, to add to your confusion as to whether you would get the Nexus One or not, here’s our take on the Google Nexus One.

First of all, Google Nexus One Design and Form Factor

Knowing fully well that I’m probably among the first owners of the Nexus One in the country where I am located, you can just imagine how proud I am when showing the Nexus One to my friends and co-workers. I’ve got mixed reactions. But those who are tech savvy enough usually comment on how beautiful the Nexus One’s form factor and design is as compared to the iPhone. And I couldn’t help but agree with them. Don’t get me wrong here. I loved the iPhone’s design and form factor when I first got hold of it. But after two years of using the iPhone, I felt the same thing when I got hold of the Nexus One. The Nexus One emits a sense of geekiness while the iPhone now gives me a sense of fun and entertainment.

The Google Nexus One is lighter than the iPhone but thicker by a small bit. I’ve seen several HTC manufactured phones before but none of them appealed to me than when I saw the Google Nexus One. The Nexus One’s body is composed of two different materials – a metallic bezel surrounding the front and side of the phone and a rubbery material that serve as battery cover and the bottom part of the phone. Gripping the phone with your hand is a pleasant experience thanks to its thin form factor and its curvy shape.

On the face of the Nexus One are five basic buttons, unlike the iPhone’s one-button interface. The five buttons include a trackball which is actually pretty useless except when it blinks when something is happening on your phone while on standby-mode. It’s not really useful as a scrolling device since you can practically use the Nexus One’s touch screen feature to scroll. The other four buttons are – for navigating to the Homescreen, back, menu and search. All buttons have haptic feedback when you tap on them. But don’t get your hopes so high for this button as most of the time they don’t respond well. iPhone’s touch control between the Nexus One in this department.

At the back of the Nexus One you can find the camera and the LED Flash, the Google trademark and the HTC brand. On the left side of the phone is the volume control while on the bottom side is the USB port.

Overall, Google (or HTC) has managed to come up with a well designed smartphone worthy of competing against the iPhone. Make no mistake both smartphones are great looking in their own rights. Putting the Nexus One beside my iPhone 3GS makes it look more the male while the iPhone as the female.

Secondly, Google Nexus One Software – the Android Experience

With the latest Android OS 2.1 running as its OS, Google managed to come up with a robust mobile phone platform that may not be more revolutionary than the iPhone but is definitely at par with it. One thing you’ll quickly noticed when using the Nexus One is its speed, especially if you are on Wi-Fi. Downloading apps from the Android Market is a breeze through Wi-Fi, faster than when downloading apps from the iTunes Apps Store on the iPhone.

Android OS 2.1 may not have offered something different than what the iPhone is currently offering but it is certainly a great mobile phone OS in its own right.

Now, when friends ask me what’s the difference between the iPhone and the Google Nexus One aside from their looks, I always cite one answer – the Nexus One’s Voice command capability. Whether it’s the voice-to-text function or voice-enabled searching. Don’t get me wrong here, these features are far from perfect and I have personally experienced inconsistency when transcribing what I’ve spoken but it’s still fun and exciting how the Nexus One recognizes and transcribes what I want to say when composing SMS. It’s the coolest feature that I know of the Nexus One so far.

Another notable feature of the Google Nexus One is the live wallpaper. It’s pretty cool but useless and just eat up your phone’s precious battery life. Those who prefer usability over eye-candy will definitely find this as a negative feature of the phone but for those who don’t mind this feature definitely rocks.

When viewing applications you can either view it similar to how the iPhone apps look or via a more organized grid-like manner that displays in 4×4 arrangement on your phone’s screen.

Of course, you all know that the Nexus One also features a virtual keyboard like the iPhone. And if you’re fond of texting, this is very important. To be straight about it, I have more luck with typing the correct words on the iPhone than on the Nexus One. The keys on Nexus One’s virtual keyboard are placed so close to each other so much so that those with bigger fingers would often find it a pain to type messages. It’s a good thing that I don’t send SMS messages often, so I won’t have to deal with this problem most of the time. A quick fix would have to be downloading another virtual keyboard at the Android market.

Overall, software-wise, the Nexus One is also short of introducing something new and revolutionary into the market. Most if not all of its features are already with the iPhone and other touch-screen smartphones, except of course for the voice-enabled commands.

Thirdly, Other Important Information that You Should Know about the Nexus One

Very important – how’s the Nexus One’s battery performance? Quite surprisingly that Nexus One’s battery performance is pretty good. It could last you one whole day of normal use. This if of course pretty standard among smartphones with touchscreen features. If I have to compare it with the iPhone’s battery performance, the iPhone wins for a good couple of hours more.

Camera features – With a 5 megapixel camera, the Nexus One takes pretty decent shots. Nothing exemplary but good enough for what it is capable of given its extent. Of course it beats the iPhone’s camera in terms of resolution and output. But the one thing it failed to beat though is the iPhone’s camera speed and touch to focus feature. The Nexus One’s camera is slow. Perhaps an Android update would make it faster later on. But then, it’s the main reason while you would want to have this phone, anyway.

Photo Gallery – I believe the Nexus One’s photo gallery uses Cooliris. So there’s some coolness factor into it. Not as great as the iPhone’s photo gallery of course but is good enough to make it different from other mobile phones.

Lastly, Conclusion

When rumors leaked out about the Nexus One, expectations were high over the fact that it is a Google Phone. Now that it’s out in the open, did Google meet these expectations? It varies from every user. As for me, I am more than happy with my Google Nexus One. I wasn’t really expecting too many features that my iPhone 3GS could not do. In fact, I wasn’t expecting it to be an iPhone killer. But now that I’ve used it for a couple of days, I would have to say that it is NOT AN IPHONE KILLER, but more of an iPhone rival.

The question is, if you’re an iPhone owner, should you replace your phone with the Google Nexus One? Definitely not. Unless of course you’re tired of using your iPhone anymore. If you’re not an iPhone user and would like to use an Android phone, you might as well get the Nexus One instead of the other Android phones. Why? For the simple reason that it is a Google phone, and Android happens to be a Google platform.

If own an iPhone and you have the money to get another smartphone just for the heck of it, go and get your unit now. You certainly won’t regret it.

Well, this is how we think of this Google phone, what’s you opinion on this?

Touchscreen Watch-Phone,IMobile C1000Cell phone is one thing we can’t live without, seriously, what will our life be liek if without cell phones? I just can’t imagine, so cell phone is literally necessary fro everyday use. So with so many phones out there, which one do you want the most, or what kind of phones do you like the most? Well, if you like your phone to as small as possible, then this touchscreen watch phone — IMobile C1000 is really worth a look.

IMobile’s C1000 (M600) is a GSM phone-watch. It features USB and Bluetooth (A2DP) connectivity, a 1.5 inch touch screen, and character recognition software, which sadly is only useful if you happen to be fluent in Chinese. It has multimedia functions (audio and video player) that rely on a measly 60MB of internal memory with no option for expansion, rendering said features quite moot. However, all this doesn’t take away the fact that it is the smallest touch-screen phone watch out there. So if you’re willing to pay the price (which is currently unknown) when it hits the market (which is an unknown as well) instead of waiting a couple of more years for what might be a better version, go for it!

This is indeed isn’t a very ’smart’ phone, but the convenient and small design makes up for all that weaknesses. Great phone who really want their phone to be extremely small, and don’t really care about other ’smart functions’.

HTC Droid IncredibleWe’ve talked about the MOTO Droid earlier, and now let’s forget about MOTO Droid, and get ready for the Droid Incredible! Well, Droid is admittedly quite a nice phone, so maybe you don’t want to totally forget about it, and it’s OK, you don’t have, I mean, just take a look at this Droid Incredible, and then it’s you call to forget the MOTO Droid or not.

HTC and Verizon Wireless today announced their new Android phone called – DROID Incredible. This latest Android device will be available through Verizon Wireless starting April 29 and boasts of a topographic design made possible with craftmanship and precision (Well, that’s really something).

The New DROID Incredible also boasts of HTC’s latest Sense technology, a 7-panel home screen with interactive widgets, seamless integration with Exchange ActiveSync, access to Flickr and of course to the Android Market. What makes the DROID Incredible quite interesting is the fact that it will be loaded with Qualcomm’s 1GHz superfast Snapdragon processor – a first for Verizon Wireless phones. In addition, the DROID Incredible also happens to have an 8 megapixel camera, again another first among Verizon’s stable of smartphones.

Another great features to expect from the DROID Incredible are Verizon Wireless’ own mobile apps – NFL Mobile and Skype Mobile.

Other key features and specs of the DROID Incredible include – 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touch screen, optical joystick, dedicated keys for home, menu, back and search functions, proximity sensor, light sensor, digital compass, integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and 3.5 mm jack.

The DROID Incredible will be available for pre-order starting April 19 on Verizon Wireless website. It will arrive on Verizon brick and mortar shops on April 29. Price tag is at $199.99 with two-year service agreement.

So many ‘first marks’ and so many wonderful features, I’m really looking forward to this Droid Incredible! How about you? This is a more beautiful and powerful version of MOTO Droid that will probably serve you incredibly!
