Summer is here, and everyone love cream in this sweet summer, so how about get some strawberry and cream cellphone for the fun of summer? Well, check out the Vertu Strawberry and Cream Cellphone from Nokia.

Ahh, the sweet smell of summer, and the sweet stylings by Nokia’s luxury division, Vertu, complement each other so well. Launching a special edition strawberry and cream models for the girl whose phone must match her new summer handbag, the pierced leather that decorates the Ascent mobile comes in two- you guessed it- colour ways, one berry, one cream. Though the phone cannot be faulted for it’s high tech specs- hands free loudspeakers, polyphonic Yamaha hardware and a sapphire coated LCD screen, I feel kinda gypped at the fact that they’re touting themselves as strawberries and cream, when it’s strawberries or cream. And not a Chupa Chups or scented phone charm in sight. I may have to invest in some penny sweets to cheer me up now.

So, how do you feel about these phones, girls? Do you love them, or you just want some real strawberries and cream for the summer?

Summer of 2010, really the season of footballs, the World Cup 2010 is really exciting and it looks like everybody’s watching it. Guess what? Watching the World Cup Match is just not enough for some people, and for these there’re really nice gadgets to wear while watching the game. And this World Cup Cell Phone shaped like a soccer ball (football) is a quite remarkable one.

Ok, so this may not actually be an official World Cup 2010 cell phone, but it certainly looks like it could be. The Football 001 is a Quad Band GSM phone shaped like a soccer ball. The soccer ball is split in half and opens up to reveal an inside display and keypad. The phone’s specs are pretty standard, it comes with an FM radio, Bluetooth and a 2″ LCD. It’s most unique feature, aside from its shape, is that it is actually a dual sim phone. You can pick up the “World Cup Cellphone” for $159.99.

Well, if you’re a hardcore soccer fan who loves the World Cup accessories, then this is just made for you. But if you’re not, then I don’t see why take this instead of a regular phone that is more wearable, however, this Football 001 can be a really great gift for your teenage kids! You think so?

We’ve seen lots of cellphones, some are gorgeous in design, some are great for entertainment… But we really haven’t seen a cellphone so tough, the Sonim’s XP3 Sentinel is tough enough to meet the standards of the A team.

Do you find yourself falling out of planes or being submerged in water often? Then the Sonim XP3 Sentinel is the phone for you. The XP3 Sentinel has actually been designed for Lone Workers in energy, utilities, construction, security, forestry and logistics sectors, and to that effect it has been engineered to be super tough.

The phone can be dropped from 2 metres on to concrete (so you’ll have to drop it onto the floor right before you land), submerged in one meter of water for up to thirty minutes, and it can operate in temperatures from -20 to 55 Celsius. It also sports a Gorilla glass screen that meets the military-level MIL-810F certification for resistance to humidity, salt, shock and heat.

Inside the phone, its 110 decibel speakers are made to be loud enough to be heard even in the noisiest and most hostile of conditions – like picking the kids up from school. The phone also comes with an Emergency Red Button that will work even if the phone is locked. This button sends the user’s GPS location to a monitoring center. So you can never be lost, and that’s really useful when in danger. A second button, colored Amber, is the way for a lone worker to send out a message that he/she is going into a risky situation and that they need to be monitored and tracked. The XP3’s monitoring service will then track the user on a map and remind them to use the phone to check in every ten minutes until they cancel the amber alert. Finally, a green button on the phone can be used for a worker to send a signal that their work shift is done for the day.

This is really not a pretty phone, but still kind of special in shape. And I don’t think this is necessary for everyone to get a phone like this, but totally a great choice for the lone workers, and the kids too maybe. Anyway, this is unique cellphone, it’s tough and really useful in certain occasions.

Look at the photo at left, what do you think it is? No this isn’t a huge ugly remote, it’s actually a cellphone meant for Senior Citizens. When we've grown up we really want to do something for our parents, and also we want to get in touch with them, so a nice phone will do the job.

Look at the photo at left, what do you think it is? No this isn’t a huge ugly remote, it’s actually a cellphone meant for Senior Citizens. When we’ve grown up we really want to do something for our parents, and also we want to get in touch with them, so a nice phone will do the job.

But also we can always hear elderly people complain about having trouble using their phone, either can’t see clearly or just too complicated to use. That mean the elder needs a phone that is designed for the generation at the first place, and here it is, a nice senior citizen cellphone.

It has big numbered buttons to dial for those who have a hard time seeing. A torch light if they get lost in the night, FM radio for entertainment, and a SOS button which can be programmed to dial four emergency numbers and send text messages to those numbers programmed into the cellphone. All they need to do is press the SOS button in emergency situation, and the phone will issue a loud warning sound and automatically send broadcast messages to the default phone numbers programmed in.

There may be no touchscreen or color display but the big keys alone would probably be a big hit for the elder. Features big numbers and SOS panic button, the Blind Embossed Big Keypad Cell Phone For Elderly People with SOS retails for $70.

We do love smartphones, they’re beautiful, functional and smart. But sometimes they’re just too smart therefore inappropriate for the elders and the kids, you know, it can be difficult for them to use a smartphone, and it might also cause some extra cost or might bring inappropriate informations. So we do need a simple phone for them, simple but useful. and here is comes the almost disposable phone, Motorola C139.

The Motorola C139 is a GSM phone with compatibility with most operators including T-mobile and AT&T. It doesn’t play MP3s or do anything fancy at all. But it does have a color screen and support basic modern-day cell phone functions. So why should you care about the C139? It’s dirt cheap. It has a retail price of $55.99 but can be found on eBay for as low as $19.99 plus shipping. At that price, it’s almost cheap enough for it to be the world’s first disposable phone? So consider the C139 great for kids or anyone who is likely to destroy their phone easily.

So, everyone can use the Motorola C139, it might not be smart enough for you and me, but totally functional enough for the elders and the kids, and take consideration of the price, this phone is really nice choice!

A nice basic phone here, very simple and beautiful, quite adorable. If you’re really not fond of big screened phone, and don’t really like so called smartphone, then this might be a nice phone for you, simple but elegant, I think it’s perfect for girls who only seek for the basic functions on a phone but really want it to be fashionable.

NTT DoCoMo unveiled this handset in the Raku-Raku PHONE series, the Raku Raku PHONE Basic. The Raku-Raku PHONE series is primarily for people who are interested in user-friendly handsets equipped with just basic functions, and this one makes no exception. But actually this one do have got some very interesting ‘extra’ functions:

The handset features a “Slow Voice” function, achieved by embedded software which improves conversation comprehensibility by slowing the other person’s voice speed. The “Clear Voice” noise-detection function automatically adjusts voice and ringtone volume according to the surrounding noise level. The “Read Aloud” feature audibly announces the caller or email sender’s name and provides audio readouts of i-mode compatible pages. The “Simple Mail Generation” feature provides the user with preset messages for quicker replies to e-mails.

The handset is compatible with DoCoMo’s push-based service, i-channel, that automatically delivers news and other info as telop text on standby screens, text which can be displayed in extra-large font for easy reading. The phone also functions as a pedometer, helping the user measure the distance he or she has walked, as well as computing calorie consumption.

Wow, so it’s really got something inside, seem perfect especially for a lady. I’d really like to have that, how do you?
