Fashion is really versatile, it can team up with nearly everything, and most of the time we would love to see the outcome, because that means beautiful and functional. But what if fashion got really geeky, and nothing about functional, will you still buy it?

The fusion of fashion and technology so far has been going pretty well. We have seen laptops and cameras being influenced by top designers as well as assorted cases and accessories, and even headphones. However sometimes this merge can go awry and such is the case with Cellies “Arm Candi for your Cell.” A great concept in theory, but just not that functional in reality.

The essence of the accessory is that it slips on to your wrist, and on one side it is a studded cuff in addition to being a holster for your iPhone or any cellphone. The inner portion of the cuff has a material pouch that you can slip your device into.

However, whatever kind of device you decide to slip into this ‘Cellie’ – you’ll have a hard time operating it through your cuff as this was originally intended. The material used makes it hard to see the screen in order to operate the device in any way. So for anything more complicated than answering a call, you’ll have to take out the phone from the Cellie and use it – instead of being fashionably discreet.

The Cellie we got was the studded one and it seems to be one size fits all at the moment. So not only was it a little snug on our wrists to begin with – but adding an iPhone into the mix even made it more uncomfortable.

The concept of Cellie is also not all that dissimilar to the Showstopper Gadget Pouch that revealed earlier. But while Cellies seemed like an ingenious idea and certainly fashionable at first, it really isn’t arm candy at all nor is it flattering. Instead you look more robotic with a bulky phone on your wrist. For those who are looking to mix up their ways of carrying their cellphones – then by all means Cellies is certainly unique, but not practical. However if you want a great looking material wrist cuff to match your little black dress sans phone – then this is a great fashion accessory.

Well, despite the fact that I do love studded stuff lately, I don’t think this is going to be beautiful on your arm if you don’t have a really slim arm, not to mention comfortable and functional, so I’ll simply pass this. What about you?

There’re Google lovers everywhere, and for all those who love Android cellphone, we all know that the Google Nexus One is like the perfect choice, besides for the design and function reviews we’ve seen, simply for this is a Google phone, and Android just happens to be a Google system. That’s pretty enough for Android lovers to buy this phone, and now there’s even more!

Google’s Nexus One is cementing its status as a desirable phone: luxury case-makers are already rushing to case its slender slightly curvy body in plush materials. And the 3G network doesn’t even work on it yet. Well not one the one I saw last week.

Waterfield designs have coated it in suede leather in what they describe as a smart-looking and snug jacket. They’re also donating some of the proceeds to Haiti. Though it’s not luxe perhaps the coolest case of all is the little Android robot one that comes with it. Everyone loves that cute little robot, anything with that little robot on it just shows you’re really in with the whole Android chic.

The case chic has really come to the Google Nexus One now, here’re also some full marks to Gelaskins for creating some beautiful manga-inspired case designs for the Nexus, they’re really lovely.

Talking about iPhone cases we’ve seen quite a lot of them already, and some of them are really pretty, some might be very functional. Prima Cases just exhibited their new cell phone holders at the Digital Life convention in New York recently. Too many cellphone cases out there, seriously, too many! There’s all kinds of different cellphones cases made of many different kinds of materials and for many different phones. But I don’t know why, it’s like every girl’s always lack of a fine dress, we are always lack of nice cellphone case. Well, that’s hilarious, but true.

Hello Kitty just never grow old, and we all want to be young, so we all (girls especially) love Hello Kitty, for it is always so cute and so young. The Japanese really know how to make business out of cuteness, so we now see the little Hello Kitty everywhere, in kitchens, on beddings, on kids clothing…and even on iPhones!
