Well, bluetooth headsets are always appreciated at my home, but I haven’t seen many good ones unfortunately. So when this Pendand Style Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset comes into my sight, it’s just the right time at the right place.

What can we say, we are demanding when it comes to headsets. We like them wireless, small and with high-quality stereo sound. The new pendant style Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth headset certainly seems to fit the bill. The compact headset has a clip which easily attaches to pockets or straps, and it has ear phones made of contoured, soft silicone gel tips, which are unusual for a bluetooth headset. The 260 connects to your cell phone via bluetooth for calls, and it supports the A2DP bluetooth profile so that you can wirelessly listen to stereo music on your phone. It also comes with an audio-out cable for connecting to any standard 3.5 back for full playback on an external stereo device.

This Plantronics’ Pulsar 260 bluetooth headset retails for $109.95. Pretty reasonable for such a nice functional bluetooth headset.

BlackBerry Bluetooth Watch Coming

The most popular cell-phone brand “BlackBerry” is going to develop a Bluetooth watch. RIM are preparing a number of new Bluetooth accessories, including a Bluetooth watch. BlackBerry accessories VP Antoine Boucher sat down with the BGR at WES to discuss his department’s latest wares, Boucher admitted that his team had modified the timepiece to display BlackBerry alerts.

These included alerts when new emails, BlackBerry Messenger messages, texts, IMs, tweets and Facebook messages are received. When pressed on whether RIM was developing their own Bluetooth watch, the VP would only say that his team “are exploring many accessories that would surprise people.”

Today, most of phones have bluetooth tech and it is easy to use. Although most people don’t use it frequently, probablly because we can’t see the advantages of this hand-free thing, since we’re accustomed to triditional phones. Anyway, we take out our BB all the time. But what about those occasions that we really can’t pull it out, like while riding a motobike or a bicycle or driving a car, then we do need a bluetooth watch to check out what’s going on…
